SLAC REGULATIONS

 
2019/20 SEASON REGULATIONS
 
SLAC run our operations with the intent to increase participation for our entire membership base and the only way is by having a set of regulations to abide by. These are made up of a number of policies for athletes, coaches, spectators, coaches and officials that we require all participants and their parents to abide by.
 

WORKING WITH CHILDREN

The WWC Check applies to adults who work with children or are engaged in volunteer roles involving children (under 18 years of age). The WWC Check applicable in Victoria is the mandatory minimum standard for a range of child – related industries.

The WWC Check helps to protect children from sexual or physical harm by checking a person’s criminal history for serious sexual, serious violence or serious drug offences.

PROCEDURE FOR CONFIRMING A CENTRE RECORD

CENTRE BEST PERFORMANCES (CENTRE RECORDS) 
 
Centre best performances are noted on each event’s running sheet. Please check at IT desk that these are up to date at the time of new record.

When a best performance for an event is broken, a member of the committee MUST verify the measurement or time. For a field event, nothing must be moved until verification is completed.
