What a busy Saturday many of you, and us, had last week! The Coles Community Round was packed full of fun (and RED) at Sandy – thanks Nicole and all of the parents who helped out last weekend in the Under 6-8s program. And a big clap for many in the membership who participated in the SMR Relays – so many teams made it through to states. Anyone say AWESOME? You bet.
U6 GIRLS are on set up this week (please arrive at 7:15am). U9 Boys and Open Boys on BBQ.
U10 Boys are on Pack Up.
This week’s email covers:

- What to bring (and what NOT to): water bottle, hat & sunscreen (if sunny). Please don’t bring your furry friend along or any balls/sporting equipment.

A REMINDER AGAIN TO MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD HAS THEIR COMPETITION BIB/PATCH ON – WE CAN NOT LOG CHILDRENS’ RUNNING RESULTS WITHOUT IT.
- Wet weather: Check out the wet weather button on our website (in the top left hand corner), which we will update at 7.30am on Saturday mornings if the weather is concerning – and again at 9.15am for the second session. (There is some rain forecast so keep a look out for info – it may come on Stack Team App also)
- Program: Here is the PROGRAM for this week.
2. Last Saturday at SMR Relays
Well done to everyone who competed at SMR on Saturday!
It was fantastic to see the hard work, determination and great sportsmanship showed by so many of our athletes. We are particularly proud of our B, C and D teams who tried their absolute best, with smiles on their faces and never gave up. Well done champs!
It was also amazing to see our mixed teams do so well – the mixed teams from our youngest athletes (U9s and U10s) placed on the podium in every event! What a great future we have. And did you see the podium after the 4×200 for U11 girls? Sandy colours only (and the D team came 9th too – wowsers!).
Thank you so much to our coaches, age group managers and Shane (and many other parents) for looking after the children and the club so well during the day. We can all be proud of how we represent the club (and certainly not just on the results front).
