Saturday volunteering

Families of Sandringham Little Aths athletes are requested to complete 3 volunteer duties for each athlete on Saturday mornings during the summer track season. Volunteering involves wearing a high-vis vest and following their athlete’s Age Group from event to event, assisting the coaches and Age Group Manager as needed. This typically involves helping measure at field events and helping the coaches organize races for track events. For families with multiple athletes, volunteers are required for each athlete.

The sign-up sheet for volunteering during the 2025/26 track season will be available before the beginning of the season.

Sandringham Little Aths uses an on-line portal (signup.com) where families can select the date, time and role for their Parent Duty. This portal will be available before the beginning of the season.

Sandringham Little Aths understands that it is difficult for some families to volunteer due to extenuating circumstances.  If you are one of those families, or if you have any questions regarding volunteering, please contact sandringham@lavic.com.au.
